Join us this Sunday for in-person connection mornings in Cork and Dublin
An opportunity to meet and practice with other members
Dear MTAI Members,
This Sunday 8th June there will be two special in-person events held by the MTAI in Cork and Dublin from 10am -1pm.
These Mindfulness Connection and Exploration Mornings will be the 5th in the series of Cork mornings since last October, and the 2nd of the Dublin mornings which were initiated after the positive feedback and success of the Cork mornings and the first Dublin morning in April.
These sessions are an informal way of meeting to practice with colleagues, explore mindfulness and teaching, and of course have a chat to catch up!
In these sessions we’ll explore the journey from engaging in mindfulness practice for our own benefit to committing to a teacher training pathway to becoming teachers and inquiring into what that means to each of us in both our professional and personal lives.
Please feel free to bring a meditation cushion, a mat, blanket or anything else you feel you might support you over the course of the morning.
Cork details
The Cork gathering will be held in Room 101 Brookfield Health Sciences Complex, UCC, Cork and will be facilitated by Aedamur Kelly with a chance also to share experiences with other members and members of the MTAI board. You can find more details and register here.
The nearest café is a bit of a walk so it may be worth bringing a raincoat if going out during our break or bringing a tea/coffee and a snack with you.
Dublin details
The Dublin gathering will be held in the Dominican Retreat Centre in Tallaght, and will be facilitated by Maryrose Buckley with a chance also to share experiences with other members and with members of the MTAI board. You can find more details and register here.
There is a beautiful garden and mature woodland available to us for some outdoor time and practice so bring clothing to suit the weather. The retreat centre also has tea / coffee making facilities available so feel free to bring your own cup and snacks for yourself or to share.
We are very grateful to our wonderful members who have volunteered to facilitate these upcoming mornings. If you are interested in facilitating a morning in the future, please let us know.
Looking forward to seeing those who can join us there.
Warm wishes,
The MTAI Board
